A Frame Home Services started when I was a kid building skateboard ramps and tree houses in the Brazoria County / Houston area. My Dad enjoyed home repair and used to watch Bob Villa's television program, "This Old House". At the time, I didn’t like the TV show, but I grew to appreciate it when I began installing floors and shingling roofs in high school. After graduation, I worked as a manager for a paint contractor, but eventually left the construction business to join the U.S. Navy during the Persian Gulf War. Following my military service, I moved to Lago Vista to work as an apprentice under a welder and dock builder. I changed gears after two years to study business at Southwest Texas State in San Marcos and worked as a Branch Manager for Aztec Promotional Group. I returned to Austin and transitioned to recruiting for Dell, Adecco Technical, and Cybertech among other technical contracts.
Working recruiting tech contracts proved to be unstable so I dove back into the construction business starting A Frame Home Services. The company was also created nine years ago because of my wife and I buying a home in South Austin. After doing so, we experienced very poor customer service from local contractors, combined with low quality workmanship, and little to no responsiveness. This experience, along with the will to help homeowners in North Austin rebuild after the two devastating hail storms that hit the community, lead to the formation of A Frame Home Services. We've been actively working to improve our company by seeking quality contractors, upgrading technology and processes, and constantly evaluating our price point to offer the most competitive value for home and commercial remodeling and repairs in all of Austin.
